IMPORTANT NOTICE TO BUYERS OF A SINGLE PIECE OF FURNITURE, ARCHITECTURAL ARTIFACT OR LARGE ITEM IN OUR “OTHER ARTS” CATALOG.
Be aware that the cost of purchasing a single piece of (small) furniture, a small architectural artifact or a large item of our "Other Arts" catalog, might be multiplied by 3 after incurring Customs clearance fees and delivery (from port) to your home.
As it might be too expensive to forward by air fight, the alternative would be sea freight. The minimum sea freight charge is for a cubic meter (in which several small items may fit), and from Thailand to any international port shipping costs generally between US$300 and US$600.
On arrival, some countries charge only VAT, for others VAT is additional to Customs fees. A custom agent/forwarder should preferably be hired to help facilitate this matter, unless you already have knowledge of procedure. And depending on how far you live from the nearest international port, trucking and handling fees might well be costly, especially in relation to an originally low-priced purchase.
But if, after all, it does not matter to you, you're too much in love with that desirable object to let it pass, we will help you to the best of our ability to have these costs reduced to a minimum when inquiring about door-to-door shipping charges. It is however preferable that you also check these costs from your side, as we can offer only one option, while you should be able to find a whole choice of agents (customs brokers & forwarders) in the yellow pages.
Thank you for your understanding.
